Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 30, 2026
1. Introduction
Summer Finance (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it.
By accessing or using the Summer Finance platform, website, or any related services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
2. What Information We Collect
We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide the Services.
Account Registration
The only personal information we collect when you create an Account is your email address. This is used solely to:
- Identify your Account;
- Send you service-related communications (e.g., account notifications, billing, support replies);
- Allow you to recover access to your Account.
Transaction and Usage Data
When you use the Services, we may automatically collect non-personal technical data, including:
- IP address;
- Device type and browser information;
- Session timestamps and feature usage logs.
This data is collected for security, fraud prevention, and service stability purposes only. It is not used to build user profiles or shared with advertisers.
3. What We Do Not Collect from Individual Users
For individual users operating under a Company Account (such as your employees and team members), we do not collect:
- Government-issued identification or personal KYC documents;
- Personal financial statements or proof of personal funds;
- Phone numbers or physical addresses (unless voluntarily provided in support communications);
- Any information about Transaction counterparties beyond what is technically required to execute the Transaction or to perform sanctions and AML screening as described in our service documentation.
Summer Finance is designed to allow individual platform users to manage crypto financial operations with minimal personal data exposure.
Corporate Verification (KYB)
Where applicable law requires Know-Your-Business (KYB) verification of the legal entity holding the Account, that process applies to the corporate entity itself — not to its individual users. KYB is performed once at onboarding through our regulated compliance partners and is governed by separate agreements concluded with the Account-holding Company. KYB materials are retained as required by applicable law and are not displayed in the day-to-day Platform interface.
Counterparty addresses screened through our AML and sanctions-list features are processed solely for the purpose of regulatory screening and are not used to build profiles of individual platform users or shared with advertisers.
4. Cookies
On the landing page and public website, we use cookies and similar tracking technologies for analytics purposes. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings or via the cookie consent mechanism on our website.
Inside the platform, we use only strictly necessary session cookies required for authentication and platform functionality. No third-party tracking cookies are used within your Account.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page and, where changes are material, notify you via email or through your Account. Your continued use of the Services following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
